Project milestones are a great way to track your process with a project.

Milestones are repeated phases or stages in a project. For example, if you are a web designer then your milestones for a web design project might look something like this:

  • Onboarding

  • Web Planning

  • Web Strategy

  • Web Design

  • Web Development

  • Testing

  • Launch

  • Offboarding

The milestones are represented visually by the progress bar in the Project view and in the client portals. As you check off milestones, the progress bar fills in.

You can edit your milestones at any time and save different templates in your Project settings (by editing a project):

Setting up Milestone Templates:

WillowSpace also offers you a way to save different process templates as milestones. To manage milestone template, go to Projects > Milestone templates and begin to edit, delete or create new process flows.

Milestones are a fantastic way to keep track of your project progress. It also helps you get a quick overview of projects that are just kicking off vs. wrapping up. This helps to assess whether you have capacity to take on more work at any moment in time.
